Crested Polish Chooks

I am a small breeder of Polish, Belgian d'Uccle and Belgian d'Watermael poultry based in Southwest Sydney.

After many years of wanting to be owned by poultry I stumbled across Polish by sheer accident and my love affair with the breed was instant. The Belgian's were added to the flock only last season as a way of possibly assisting in the re-creation of another very rare breed the Sultan. I have since given up on even thinking about Sultan's in the forseeable future due to there being a number of very experienced breeders already doing what they can to bring the breed back from extinction. However I am assisting breeders with the development of Belgian D'Watermael via adding to a very small gene pool through some of my own Belgian Xbreeds.

I have been actively employed in the pet/animal industry for over 20 years and have worked in many fantastic areas of the industry,although my main area is pet grooming.

I have shown dogs successfully in previous years but now dedicate my spare time,and than some to the breeding and development of my chosen poultry breeds with a view to one day showing them as well.

I have been extremely lucky in finding and gaining the support of several poultry breeders that are more than willing to share the extensive knowledge with me and I hope that I can in some way by building this website further pass that knowledge along.
