It is with great pleasure that I can announce the much anticipated arrival of my Belgian d'Watermael's.
I have been extremely fortunate to procure 2 pairs of these extremely rare birds and look forward to breeding and showing them in the near future.
Their page is still under construction so please bare with me.
Well my friends and family it seems I have a break-through in a colour gene for Australia.
Unfortunately I can't offer more at the moment BUT one of those amazing genes that the UK and the USA have readily is now here in Australia.
No birds or eggs are available (nor pics I am afraid as secrecy is utmost) but I sincerely wanted to share my excitement with everyone that cares about Polish Chooks and their gene pool.................something I have found sincerely lacking elsewhere in Australia.
My cogratualtions to those that have my resources to further what I ahve done where others have failed.
Yes it happened in these pens first!!! Stay tuned for more updates!!!
Please note that ALL birds with this gene are under contract and cannot be sold without prior consent.

Hi everyone and a happy Easter to you all.
The latest hatch (Belgian's) are all growing strongly and I have been blessed with a pair of Splash and 2 cockerals and 5 pullets in the earlier hatch........can't believe my luck with that one!!
On a more recent hatch (just a few weeks ago) I had a terrible time with just 1 surviving chick from a hatch of 6 from 30 eggs. Definately incubator problems,so the incubator is now packed away for the season.
Just as well too because as soon as I put it away everyone went into their full moult and laying has ceased hugely, although a couple of the Belgians are still laying..........who can work them out I ask?
On a more serious note I have had to remove the guestbook due to it being SPAMMED and rather distasteful posts being made in it. Please rest assured that I have it being looked into by the appropriate authorities as it is equating to "stalking".
I wish one and all a very happy and safe Easter.
